adidas drops the laceless ACE 16+ Purecontrol Dubbed the ACE 16+ Purecontrol, Adidas' newest wheels do away with conventional laces and use a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) cage to secure the middle part of the foot. There's also an internal locking system and the upper section is made from a combination of open and loose knitted structures, something called Primeknit which featured in Adidas' all-in-one boot/sock hybrid concept from 2014.The all-new Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl is the most exquisite variant of the second generation of the Adidas Ace. It costs an estimated 300 Euro and brings a laceless concept to Adidas football boot lineup for the first time in years. Tech features concerned, the laceless Adidas Ace cleats boast a Primeknit upper, while the sole plate is identical to all three other top models.

Compared to the Adidas Ace Primeknit 2016 boots, the extended collar of the Adidas Ace 16+ GTI boots actually appears smaller, and also made from a different, more rough-textured material. Two straps are placed at the front and back of the collar to make it easier to put on the new laceless Adidas Ace football boots.
